Children's Summer Reading Programs

Children's Summer Reading Program - Children age 3 to those entering grade six will each receive a reading and learning folder in which to keep track of time spent reading at home. The more a child reads, the more opportunity he or she has to earn prizes such as small toys, coupons to local restaurants, or books to keep. Additional prizes may be earned by completing various learning activities on the back of the folder.

The Tadpole Club  - Children from birth to age 3 can participate in a Summer Reading Program just for them. Parents or caregivers can share literacy-based activities with young children and receive a prize especially for the little one.

Teen Summer Reading Program

In this all-new summer reading challenge, points can be earned by reading and through experiences (like attending library events, visiting a museum, or doing a science experiment). The more points you accumulate, the bigger the prize, and everyone who completes the challenge will be invited to a special After-Hours Event at the Main Library in Warren.
