Liberty is the fifth branch location for the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. The library opened to the public on Nov. 2, 1998 in a Liberty Plaza storefront offering some 3,500 square feet of space. In October of 2000, the library purchased 1.86 acres of land near the site of the former Liberty High School on Churchill-Hubbard Road. Construction on a new building began in 2002. The new 10,000 square foot facility opened for business on May 19, 2003.

The library has 9 public computer workstations - 7 for adult/teen use and 2 for children. The computer workstations feature 17-inch monitors, CD R/RW drives, USB capabilities, Windows 7, and the Microsoft Office 2010 suite featuring Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Access. Public computer workstations provide Internet access as well as access to the library's online catalog and databases.
One of the adult computers has ZoomText software to assist the visually impaired.
Black and white printing ($0.10 per page) and color printing ($0.25 cents per page) on a central printer is available. Resume paper may be provided by the customer.
You must have a valid W-TCPL library card in your name and in good standing to use public computers. Computer users must abide by the library's computer usage policy.
Customers are limited to two (2) one-hour sessions per day. Reservations for a computer may be made up to one day in advance but are not necessary.
Library staff can assist customers with limited computer instruction and questions. Basic computer classes in conjunction with the Connect Ohio program are offered at the library several times throughout the year. Space is limited and a reservation is required. Story times and other programming for chidlren is offered at the library; check the calendar for all events each month. The Liberty Branch Library has a wide variety of children’s materials including audio books, music CDs, family movies, graphic novels, and CD-ROM’s.
Meeting Room/Study Room
A meeting room with a capacity of 40 adults is available at no charge to non-profit organizations on a limited basis. Call (330) 759-2589 for scheduling information.

Blood pressure screenings courtesy of the Liberty Fire Department EMTs are typically offered the third Wednesday of each month from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Liberty Library typically meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month starting in January. The Friends hold an on-going book sale in the library meeting room. For more information about the Friends of the Liberty Library, call (330) 759-2589.
