Things to do for adults, teens, and children at the Howland Branch Library.
During 1990, the Howland Branch Library first began service in a Howland Plaza storefront. The library celebrated the grand opening of its new building on East Market Street in April 1998. The building sits on four acres with approximately 10,200 square feet. The building uses a geothermal heating/cooling system.
As a popular reading center, the Howland Branch Library features a small collection of reference materials. In-depth research is directed to the Main Library at 444 Mahoning Avenue NW in Warren.
Materials available at the Howland Branch Library include:
- Adult/teen/children’s fiction and non-fiction books
- Music CDs
- Entertainment and educational videos, including Blu-Ray & DVDs

Each library location has free public computer stations with Internet and word processing capabilities. Cutomers are limited to two one-hour sessions per day.
