At the Main Library. Experiments, arts, crafts! Books, websites, videos! The “Great Lives” program on February 3 will focus on Edna Lewis, the groundbreaking African-American chef who became well-known in the 1940s when female chefs were few and far between and black female chefs were a rarity.
