Internet/Computer Use & Safety
Library Computers for Children
Each library has computers designated exclusively for use by children:
- Multimedia CD-ROM stations with educational games for ages 3 - 12
- Internet stations for ages 6 - 12
- Word processing and printing for homework needs
Internet Use & Safety
The Internet and World Wide Web contain many different kinds of materials, and links can lead in unexpected directions. The W-TCPL Child Safety Policy states that it is the responsibility of each child's parent or legal guardian to monitor that child's net access.
